About
Hello,
My name is Brian Fielder and I am a trader and coach. When I first got involved in trading CFDs I looked for something that would teach me all the ins and outs so that I knew what I was doing. What I found was a couple of books that promised a lot and didn’t deliver so I went to the internet and did an equally unfruitful search – all I found was very basic stuff indeed.
I then resorted to the booked provided by the CFD providers such as the Dealing Handbook and Customer Agreement and found them hard going. I believe there is still a gap in information for the beginner to contracts for difference so I decided to write this manual. For many years I’ve also worked on a desk of one of the world’s largest CFD providers and I have had enough of people losing money unnecessarily or in many cases, traders running out of money just before they worked out the formula that worked for them.
The purpose of the book I would like to make quite clear. This manual will give you all the information you will need to open an account and manage it without having ot phone the trading company every five minutes asking what feels like dammed fool questions (as I did). I will also point out a number of potential pitfalls I found out the hard way.
Why this Trading Guide on CFDs?
- This method of trading has exploded in popularity over the past few years and is still growing in popularity every month.
- There is a lack of accessible, comprehensive and understandable information on the subject of CFDs.
- I wanted to pass on the hints, tips and pitfalls that he has learned the hard way in order to save others from losing money through a lack of understanding or knowledge.
You may find that some of the lessons contained within this guide are more applicable to your individual situation than others, and that is to be expected. I have always found that there can be a couple of crucial points that can make the difference between success and failure. Most importantly this CFD trading guide may save a good man or woman from ruin that is sadly quite probable were they to just blindly start trading without knowing what they were getting themselves in for.
